'X' is still not working. A lot of other sites like to post things like "it's testing" or "OSHA was on scene to inspect" or "I heard it will open by the end of the month" or "they have 1 train fixed" etc etc etc. All not true. This ride will not be operable for a long time.
On another note, that space shot (or whatever it is called) thing with the three poles in SFMM is not opening either.
I think somebody had said it would in July, I forget where. Here we are in August and it is still closed along with 'X'.

Yesterday, "X" reopened with two working trains.......:D
Longs Drugs is offering a special on tickets, very similar to the DCA offer, for $34.99 you get an Adult and a child's ticket (A child is one who is 48" or smaller). You need to buy the ticket at Longs before you go.

Adding to the report regarding running trains...
I cruised by Magic Mountain Thursday night... in the 10 minutes I was in the parking lot, 3 empty X trains went over the hill.

Sounds like the night I was at Knott's a couple of weeks ago .......
Plenty of empty Excelerator trains running ....................
Sometimes is just a pain waiting for new rides to get over their "birthing pains", but these days as safety is now (and should be) the primary concern one has to expect lots of checks, stoppages and tests..........

Was over by Knott's today at noon - didn't see any Excelerator trains running at all over a 15 minute period ...........
On another parking lot visit to Magic Mountain Friday night -
X was running with full trains. Trains launched 4-5 minutes apart. Possibly only one train in circulation?
