Okay now the Six Flags here (East Cost) Was something else before Six Flags took over but I don't remember what ^_^;; Anyway... This Six Flags is the worst place to go! The conditions are awful... Everything is so dirty! I ever saw a dead roch in the bathroom  And the place is so mobbed because they don't know how to lay things out to make it so people can get through :o And there is absolutley no Bugs Bunny in a tux to greet you... Oh and Superman Coaster of Steel is so smooth it is painless :p All in all do not waste any money in overpriced bad junk food or to go spend the day in nasty conditions... Stay with Disney! Or the near by waterworld :D

You're describing Six Flags New England, which was formerly Riverside.

I've only seen the ads on TV--is it really that bad?

Riverside was good... This Six Flags is awful! Don't waste you're money and if you have little kids don't bring them here! There are so many Teenagers who think there all that now and are jumping up and down breaking things :o One was arrested for being drunk and peeing on the grass

Six Flags parks seem to be targeted to the junior high/high school crowd, and aren't really appropriate for younger kids, if only because there isn't much for them to do. I think that's one of the reasons that so many people like Knotts--they've got the big coasters, as well as plenty of tame things for the kiddies.

I've seen the same thing at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA.

I think they should change the name to 'Gangsta Mountain'

Magic Mountain is awesome! It is certainly different from any Disney park, but sometimes change is good! I love that park!! i would much rather spend a day there than at DCA!

Disney parks are family parks. Six Flags parks are teen parks. Though SF parks tend to be more dirty, they have the best rides, and some of them still look pretty nice (Magic Mountain, Texas, Great America). When I go to Six Flags Magic Mountain, I know what to expect, so I'm not disappointed by a lack of theming. I came to enjoy the coasters, and that's what I do. Disney parks are more of a "walk around" kind of park.
