Has anyone had the pleasure to be here for illuminations and how loud are we talking??

I've been on the patio once during Illuminations. I don't recall it being overly loud to me, but the fireworks are launched from a fairly close distance during some parts of the show.

we've done dinner & Illuminations before. Check in about 20+ min. before your ADR - ask for a table outside, tell them you'd like to see the fireworks and are willing to wait for a decent table. Attempt to time it so that you are doing dessert right before or after the fireworks - not always possible fun worth the try! Best of luck. We didn't find it overly loud.

We had an outside table here booked via ADR so we could see the show without sitting on the pavement for ages beforehand. Be warned - the under cover roof bit outside obscures much of the show so we needed to get up to see it all anyway, but was still much better that waiting for it another way.

We were fortunate enough to sit right against the side of the patio area and had an unobstructed, beautiful view. We didn't find it too loud.
