I not really much of an athletic type of person, but I do work out from time to time. I have enough problems working out on land, but I recently discovered the challenges of working out onboard a moving ship.
The sea were pretty good for most of the voyage. One of the days at sea was pretty rocky, but I normally like to feel a ship move from side to side. I had never thought about what affect this would have on a work out.
I was lying down on a bench doing a chest excercise called "Fly." The bench was facing in the direction that the ship was rocking. The ocean was against me. Everytime I would try to push the free weights toward the ceiling the ship would rock. As I mention, I'm pathetic enough on land, I don't need the Atlantic ocean to make me look like a wimp. Everytime it would rock it felt as if someone had turned on a superduper gravity machine.
After the workout, I would go to "The Rain Forest," which is a collection of saunas and steamrooms. They also had scented showers. That was really cool.

Okay. Now, I could really go for a sauna or a scented shower.
Wow, that superduper gravity machine sounds like it sucked.
Glad to hear you are home!!

One of the cool things about the gym was that the Treadmills looked down onto the Captain's Bridge and you also got a great view of where the ship was headed.
Of course, had you used the treadmills during the past week, you would have had to put up with some gangly pale white clutz with a mustache who was complaining about how hard it was to work out with the ship rocking back and forth.:D

Yes, Scented Showers. They had one that was called Fog, it had more of a minting scent to it. The other one was called Tropical, and it had a citrus and floral scent. They were both pretty cool.
(Nigel, I laughed very hard at you Silly Walks post. Thank You.)

Hmmmm... did the scent actually come out of the showerhead or was it like a humidifyer/mister thing?
But anyway you could count your romp on the treadmill as international waters sillywalking.:D

LOL.
I'm not sure, but I think that they add a scented oil to the water. It's either that or microscopic animals spraying really tiny perfume bottles.

Well... lets hope you didn't offend these microscopic animals as you did with the robots...:D
