Have you considered driving to a hotel really close to the airport tonight, so you're closer in the morning after the snow falls? My parents are more than an hour away from their airport, and they do that often if they have an early early morning flight, even if there's no ice/snow threat.

DH looked into that, said nothing was open. So I'm planning on getting up really early and getting everyone ready to go early and we will just drive real slow if we have to. The good news is it's only 3 miles to the highway and then it is all highway to the airport.
Keep your fingers crossed for us, please.

Ok, we are scheduled to fly out tomorrow morning at 9:40am and they (the evil weather people) are predicting 5 to 10 inches of snow between now and then with the snow falling at 1 to 2 inches an hour!! :crying:
The weather people are all excited because it will mean we break some kind of record that has been in place since the 1970's.
I really don't know what is going to happen but I hope the airport is open in the morning and we can get to the airport, we are about a 45 minute ride away. arrrggh.

130 DAYS!!!!! Hey, I just joined this website today and I am getting stressed/anxious/excited about the trip and all of the info! I have a question though, how do I do the coundown for the bottom of my posts and replies?

Only 1 day till my four night 5 day visit staying at POFQ! With any luck by this time tomorrow I'll be exploring the monorail hotels on my 1st non-park day!
It always seemed like a long time away, but here it is! Trips do eventually come! :)
This is a long visit (for me at least) so looking forward to many things. I'm actually not hopping 2 out of the 3 park days (hopping on one due to 1 day of a leftover hopper). I'm looking forward to spending some full days in the parks and just enjoying them at a leisurely pace.
I'm also eating at Boma for the first time and seeing AK in the dark!
Hope I can sleep a bit!

I still haven't fixed my desktop timer, so I can't look at my exact number while posting! I think I'm at like 61 days now. Life is hard for the mentally exhausted. :rolleyes: Can't wait to meet up with all my friends and make some magic for CM's. Gonna be a fun and much needed trip this time!

Howdy everyone! I missed soooo many send-offs, I am so sorry. Have a safe happy trip everyone!

Hope all worked out okay rph13!
We're staying at a hotel right beside the airport - just in case. Mind you I'm in Nothwestern Ontario, great chance there will be snow!
I hope everyone had great holidays. I will post later how all went Christmas morning with telling Kass about the trip.
