159 days left to go.
For prep, I pimped out my myspace site. It's normally covered with Mickey, but it's now geared for my trip. I put up a nice countdown clock (counts down the minutes until I am scheduled to arrive and everything!), it's playing "When You Wish Upon A Star", my profile photo is a recent one of me, photoshopped to be standing near Mickey (at EPCOT, I think), and my background is Cinderella Castle.
Speaking of the Castle, this weekend, I also made my breakfast reservation at Cinderella's Royal Table. :), so I cancelled my meal at the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Akershus.

Now that we are closing in on 100 days, we are getting more excited. When we started the clock we were over 365!! My sister-in-law and DH are taking their kids for the first time in May so I spent lots of time helping them plan their trip to get me through the rough parts. Hopefully June will get here quickly and then we hit a time warp in Florida, because that time alwyas goes by too quickly.

5 months and 6 days (sounds shorter than 157 days). Just called and made 7 ADR, Le Cellier was already booked solid for the night we wanted!! Dang - that books fast. So we "settled" for Coral Reef. I usually go by myself - reservations for 1 are ALOT easier to get than reservations for 5 :p

Still happy!

Arriving on the evening of the 17th. We are hitting EPCOT on Monday, MK on Tuesday...and I am not sure about the rest of our schedule...it's all written down at home. We're hitting all four parks (at least once), and probably both water parks too. Our last day in the parks will be the 25th, before we get back in the car, and head for home.

We're coming on the afternoon of the 17th, too, but we're flying in from SD. 17th evening at Epcot (my fav park), Monday AK am, Studios pm; Tuesday Epcot am and pm; Wednesday TL am, MK pm; Thursday MK am and pm; Friday Universal (blasphemy, I know, but I'm bringing 4 teenagers), Saturday Studios am and pm; Sunday we fly home. I'm a planner! What ages are your kids?

In my only trip (which was only 5 days), we only got to do a partial tour of EPCOT. We saw a few things, then went on Mission Space, and after that my wife had to leave! She did not enjoy the ride. So we hopped back on the monorail, and I was going to return to the MK with the kids, but it started raining really bad (we were stuck at the Grand Floridian monorail stop for like 15 minutes , so we ended up relaxing in the room after that.
As for my kids, my son is 11 (and he's starting to outgrow WDW :( ) he's becoming a coaster fanatic (but that's cool too), so he's looking forward to the big rides, but not so much the dark rides. My princess is 17. When I was trying to convince my wife that we didn't need to do a Princess meal, I called my daughter on the phone (she lives in Nevada), and she really wants to meet Belle (and the Beast too), so I gave in.
I may have to look into Universal. I grew up in California. I've been to Disneyland many times (my signature counts 8, but there may be a 9th time in the early 80s), and I never made it to Universal. Is Universal a one day kind of place, or two? I know with all of our planning, we have left the last Monday completely open.

That's so funny that you're the husband! Just because when I read your post about your myspace account I just assumed you were the mom! Silly me. I do NOT do Mission Space, either, because the spinning teacups are too much for me:rolleyes: Tell your son very sternly, that you are NEVER too old for Disney!! I've had that discussion with my 16 y/o daughter on several occasions. She is the reason for Universal this trip. We've never been, so it's going to be a one day park for us - Islands of Adventure looks like the most roller coaster action for her and her boyfriend who is also joining us on this trip, so that's what we'll do. Last WDW trip we spent a day at Seaworld for my youngest son and the trip before that we spent a day at Kennedy for my oldest son. We'll still hit all four parks and at least one waterpark and maybe Disney Quest (for the boys). I go total comando mode (not the nakie one, but the MOVEIT MOVEIT MOVEIT one) but my teens tend to sleep in some days and then meet up with me later. The planning is ALMOST as much fun as the trip itself!

Have a great trip and we'll probably pass each other in the parks at some point!

Just because when I read your post about your myspace account I just assumed you were the mom! I actually get a lot of harassment from some of the guys that I know because of my Mickey obsession. But, I can live with that.

I do NOT do Mission Space, either, because the spinning teacups are too much for meNow that's funny. Because i hate the teacups (on the last trip to WDW I didn't have to do the Teacups, the kids did it together, but in Paris, it was just myself, my wife and our son, and he begged me to go on it. And since I was dragged on, I made the best/or worst of it, and spun that thing like cray!), but I loved Mission Space (I plan to do it again this year).
