We are going to Zihuantanejo. It's the little town that Tim Robbins' character in The Shawshank Redemption escaped to. Its about 8 miles from Ixtapa but apparently worlds away as far as tourism and college party kids. Our room is on a cliff looking over the beach and I can't wait. The kids are staying home with our sitter. :D

We have extended family in Uruapan, not far from Zihuantanejo. It is gorgeous down there! Have a fabulous time!!!!! :)

We are normally frequent visitors but financially we had to skip last year and our third (and last) child was born last Jan making a trip impossible. It's the longest I've been without WDW.
And now my two oldest kids (6 and 4) will be big enough for all the Disney rides so this trip will be extra special. I can't tell you how disappointing it was last trip to not bring my kids on Splash Mountain.
Anyway, as an appropriate climax, when I called to set up some dining there was a random cancelation at Cinderella's breakfast and my daughter will be there on her 7th birthday. How's that for luck!

Only 98 days to go for our 10 day magical trip.
And there is even better news. We decided to book a 2nd trip for the week of Thanksgiving, for 5 days. Two visits this year, we are officially addicted to WDW. And there will never be a cure.

First time poster, Hi, all. 65 days and counting to our first trip without kids or grandkids. 8th visit to WDW, going this time to POR (first time there) and it looks like it will be fun. Celebrating our anniversary, Hold on, our 40th. I am as excited as the kids get when we go. I guess I'll never stop being excited about our trips to WDW, and I do the countdown each day. Wish we were going tomorrow as the northeast got snow and ice last night. I am so ready. Thanks for letting me share some of my excitement. :)

And my WONDERFUL travel agent got the AP rates for me. Saved me enough for a few more Dole Whips!
