ahhhhhh

we're leaving tomorrow:fez:

rough plans are (and by rough, I mean real rough we usually have no ADR's or "real" touring plans and wait till we get down there to sketch out our week) Animal Kingdom is on Saturday - we made a ressie for the Tusker House character breakfast. Friday & Sat. we are staying at POR. Sunday we check out and have our bags transfered to Wilderness Lodge. Staying at WL for 6 more nights. Going to Magic Kingdom- Mid day sunday we plan on taking a break and going back to WL via boat, making sure our luggage showed up and checking into our 1 bedroom villa (really looking forward the 1 bedrm. villa) then we'll head back to MK and attempt to stay of the late hours. The rest of the week is wide-open!
Those are our rough plans...they are, of course, subject to change!;)

leaving in 27 hours!!!!!!!!!!!

Yayyy Ericles. I hope you have the most marvelous trip! Actually, I know you will. I am sure I will 'talk' to you before you go, but in case something happens that we miss each other, I just wanted to wish you all the best. It'll be kind cool to know when I land - there is someone there that I "know." Okay, I'm a geek! But it's not very often you find someone that understands the carcass/dog scenario! Have fun!

It's a special bond between hunters wives..that "carcass/dog" bond:rolleyes: I took them both to the groomers yesterday and they smelled nice a fresh! Of course, this morning, I caught them in the horse pasture - you can guess what they were eating/rolling in!

(sorry to gross the rest of you guys out!)

tappenfeat/Stef/Cousin-o-mine: cleaning my desk! Mom & Dad are actually coming back from the boat (took it from Virgin Gorda to St. Croix) tomorrow for a couple of weeks, as well so we'll cross paths at the airport so to speak. They are gonna retrieve my car out of short term parking and take it home. Let's hope dad doesn't change their travel plans last min. as he's done before - can you imagine how much parking that would rack up@ PHL?!?! Gawd knows who gets to pick us up next Sat. from the airport....hopefully they will remember us!

anyway, cleaning my desk here at work, I'm such a slob! I can't leave a mess for my brothers/co-workers. I'm waiting patiently till this afternoon so I can check us in online and print our boarding passes (southwest)

I had a Brittany Spaniel that would always get out (he was a jumper) and come home smelling just lovely like that. Elsie just likes mud thank goodness.

Ericles, Have a magical time. :)

And now...my mom and step-dad are going to WDW to get the bad taste out their mouths from visit last summer; they are celebrating their honeymoon by staying at Port Orleans French Quarter from April 19 through April 26. I'm so excited for them! They're eating at the new Yak and Yeti while they are there, among some of their other favorites.

argh! I've been waiting all day to check in - it's snowing like the blazes outside and I just want to go home - but my printer @ home is down so I gotta stick around waiting for another hour till I can print my boarding passes:mad:

What fresh hell is this????

(okay - I'm impatient now. I haven't even packed!)

Oh petesimac that is wonderful they are going back! They truly, of all people, deserve a magical trip this time. Their karma will reward them with a great trip I'm sure!

How's the day going/flying ericles? Did you get your guys all booked? Desk cleaned off?

Okay - well does this count???

got the summer clothes out, everyone has their own "pile". I've already thined out the clothes and put away the ones we are not taking. Sooo, sitting in the spare bedroom, on the bed everyone has a small pile of T-shirts, polos, whatever & shorts. Plus I have most of our toiletries spread out on the couch in the spare room. I dug out the rolling duffle bags...I still need to run a load or two of laundry:rolleyes:!!! (and find my fleece)

I need to get together long sleeve T-shirts & a pair or two of jeans/pants for everyone. And socks & underware. Then I need to pack it all up.

Would now be a good time to mention I haven't been to the bank yet:eek:
I am planning on going tomorrow morning. We don't head out for the airport till about 12:30 in the afternoon.

Now I am ROTFLMAO!

Okay, so you are semi-packed. And hey, look at how fast tonight and tomorrow morning are going to go for you! Maybe that's what you can get your hubby to go - go to the bank (Kim says while laughing even harder!) tomorrow.

How long until you can print out your ticket? Then go home?

No kidding!

Your killing me with not being packed yet! I still have 315 days and I pretty much know what I will be packing already, if I did not need summer clothes before we left then I would be partially packed by now...but then I am a major :geek: about packing and getting it done early!

Well, I hope you've already taken care of the printing - But, for future reference:
You can check in without a printer - and then if you don't have checked bags, go to the self-serve kiosk in the airport and 'reprint boarding pass'. You'll still have your A (or whatever you got). If you do have bags, just tell them when you check them in you need to reprint.

Works like a charm. (It's also what you do if you check in from a web-enabled phone.)

yes! We got about 2-3" on the shore - NOT what Channel 11 predicted!!! The kids got out 1 hour early - I heard them calling harford & balt. & carroll counties before ours got called. My bro-in-law works on Kent Island, they were getting rain while we were getting snow up here in Kent & Queen Anne's Cty. Looks like we are gonna be missing some cold weather while we are gone:D

So you all can sleep tonight, I'm 85% packed:rolleyes: at 8:10 pm Eastern..although I am still doing laundry, although it's mostly odds & ends stuff that I'm not taking but I want to get cleaned & packed away so when we come home I dont' have to do anything to do right away!

Eric is taking out the trash for those of you keeping score....and now we have to stop at Dicks on the way up to PHL tomorrow morning to find him new shoes. I know - I know, really, I do:mad: He's a pain in the *** !!!

I'm about done for tonight, ready to chill out and finish my glass(s) of wine and get a decent nights sleep (oh, yeah - that's gonna happen)
