Hi everyone. Does anyone know if AAA still sells the annual passes for Disneyland? I thought I saw them on there the other day, however I don't see them now.

View Full Version : AAA annual passport [purchase discount] Rteneyck 11-16-2007, 08:14 AM Hi everyone. Does anyone know if AAA still sells the annual passes for Disneyland? I thought I saw them on there the other day, however I don't see them now. Darkbeer 11-16-2007, 10:47 AM They have a special ONLINE offer, where you buy a new AP online and get $10 off. www.disneyland.com/westways (http://www.disneyland.com/westways) Your AAA office maybe have removed the AP's on sale to prevent confusion and complaints. The ONLY way to get the lower price is to order online directly from Disney. Rteneyck 11-16-2007, 10:54 AM Thanks Darkbeer. Do you know if they send you something or if I just print something off the computer. I am leaving soon and I am worried about time. Darkbeer 11-16-2007, 11:35 AM Thanks Darkbeer. Do you know if they send you something or if I just print something off the computer. I am leaving soon and I am worried about time. You will print something. The new system is called "e-Ticket", and you print out a Barcode on a pieve of paper (one per person) and then take that paper directly to the park turnstiles. They will scan and keep the paper, and hand you a credit card sized piece of cardboard, which is the actual AP voucher. You take that cardboard to the Bank of Main Street for processing and getting your photo taken. While you wait, they will hand you your plastic AP with your photo on it. kingqueen 3princesses 11-24-2007, 09:53 AM Do you have to be a AAA member to order off of their website? I don't see anywhere where you put a number in. In the Help and FAQ section it mentions something about free parking. Would this apply to annual passes or just hoppers? Thanks! kingqueen 3princesses 11-26-2007, 10:14 AM I'm new to this and this is our first time venturing to the world of annual passes, so please be patient if this has been addressed a hundred times. Are there any discounts for buying annual passes the first time? I saw that AAA has one on their website, but I'm not a member of AAA. Can they still be purchased here? TTFN92 11-27-2007, 07:09 AM I would say that you should buy a park hopper so that you can get an early entry and then upgrade them to annual passes. I have no idea about discounts though. Rteneyck 11-27-2007, 07:54 AM I know when I went to buy the tickets I had to login with my username/passowrd that I had to set up with my AAA number. Pastafarian 11-27-2007, 09:28 PM Wow, I feel like an agreeable stalker. I have yet to see a post by TTFN that I didn't agree with. I'm starting to think they are the left part of my brain (or is it the right? are you more creative or intellectual? lol) I would agree to buy a park hopper and utilize the early entry for the day/days you can and then upgrade on your last day. That way you are sure to get to do Nemo without giving up half of a day or waiting until late late at night or do Fantasy Land with little/no waits. The amount you paid for your park hopper will be applied to your AP, but your annual renewal date of the AP will retro back to the day you first used the park hopper. Does that make sense? I.E. If you buy a 3 day park hopper for $159, and first use it on December 10th, then do early entry on Dec 11th and regular entry the 12th. Upgrade on the 12th and your cost for a deluxe pass will be the cost of the AP minus the $159 you paid for the park hopper. Your AP will then expire on the 10th of December for the following year. (I am using $159 as an example, I can't remember the exact cost of park hoppers). Hope that helps. stan4d_steph 11-28-2007, 08:26 AM Are there any discounts for buying annual passes the first time? I saw that AAA has one on their website, but I'm not a member of AAA. Can they still be purchased here?Your thread has been merged with another related thread. You must be a AAA member to take advantage of AAA discounts. There are no other discounts on annual pass purchase that I am aware of. DizneyMommy 12-04-2007, 05:47 PM They will ask to see the AAA card when you get your photo taken and if you don't have one they will charge you the difference. I overheard this happen when I was buying my DD's last month. |
