I hope nobody minds me posting all these posts.
Apparently Universal is putting out bids to the big roller coaster companies to build a new coaster in US Orlando (and maybe Hollywood). It is believed it will be similar to the one that created lots of buzz in Japan that has the riders flying over the park called "Hollywood Dream"
Each seat has a touchpad in which you select a song to listen to during the ride (each rider chooses her own)
The Orlando entrance to the queue is rumored to be in the currently dead space in the Boneyard. I haven't heard any details on Hollywood location.
This also partially answers the questions of how they will continue to expand the parks with somewhat limited real estate. Currently they have lots big enough for only a few new big attractions, without removing something else like the backstage areas, though they are doing that with part of the Potter additions.
