What are the sizes/cost? Location wise...they are some outside the park, some inside near Main Street, and some near Fantasyland? Do they rent out fast?

[I'm thinking about using them this December to hold all our jackets for later in the day.]

Thanks in advance!

From what I can remember I think it's $5.00 for a small and $7.00 for a large. I may be wrong on the prices though. I've never gone to rent a locker and they've run out (knock on wood).

Last time I was there I believe the small was $6 and the large was $7. LOL, I too could be wrong.

Yeah, there are some lockers just outside of the park and on Main Street. If there are some in Fantasyland I don't know about them. There are also some lockers at DCA.

Depending on your park dates, yes, the lockers can sell out quickly. If you get to the park in the morning grab one before you do anything else.

The actual sizes...I don't know the measurements. We usually get a small locker for us (mom, dad, and teenage son). We can fit a lot of stuff in there. :) If we get a big locker it is because I plan on buying something special and I don't want to take a chance of it getting bent in the smaller locker. But if you are concerned too much about merchandise getting messed up you can check it in towards the entrance of the park and pick it up when you leave.

Thanks everyone!

Wow, $15 for the largest size? I wonder if I could take naps in that one! :D hahahaha...

I think they change the price depending on park hours too. I always rent a small locker (and I swear there's only one size because they never have me select a size). When I went in Sept (park hours 10a-8p), it was $5. When I went last week, Nov (park hours 8a-12m), it was $7 for the same size.

These are the lockers on main street.

The nice thing about them now, is that you can have unlimited access to them through out the day with out paying more. You just enter your code to open it.

I know they have raised the locker prices at least twice since the 50th Anniversary began.

$15? Dang! I can honestly say that I have never seen a $15 dollar locker at DLl before. Actually, I don't think I have ever seen a locker over $7 (my last visit was May 18 - 20, 2007). It shall be interesting to see what they are charging on my up coming trip. Very interesting.

There are at least 2 different sizes.

Ya. I've never seen anything higher than $7 either.

From what I understand the big $15 lockers are outside the park, to the left of the main entrance (as you are looking in) They are large enough to hold a large suitcase and more.

I used one of these this weekend. Just before you get to security on the DtD side, you walk to the left and there is a picnic area. It is completely hidden by shrubbery -- I had read about where it was many times and still felt like I was walking the wrong way. The $15 locker is large enough for an ice chest.

I rented one in the morning because my husband was flying into LAX to meet us later in the day and needed a place to store his suitcase without having to take it through security. When he arrived, he didn't think he was walking the right way and so asked two different CMs for directions. Both CMs told him that there were no lockers outside the secure area!!! I thought CMs working the security lines on that side would HAVE to know about the Picnic Area lockers! Luckily he found it on his own.

One thing my GR friend told me is that if you get a small one and find it won't fit what you want it to, you can get a refund for it when you upgrade to a larger one. I don't know exactly how that works, but I do know it's possible.

Another cool thing is that you can use your credit/debit card to rent one.

We do love this. Makes it very convenient...especially since we don't like carrying a lot of cash when we visit the park.

LOL, I'm gonna go check out the suitcase locker in December. :)

Oooh. That's great to know, PanFan.

I know in the past we've gotten a smaller locker to hold jackets, etc, then did a little unexpected shopping. :D Knowing we have the option to upgrade will make those shopping impulses easier.

Thanks!
