Hello All,
Can anyone tell me if there is a minimum advanced notice for making a resort reservation? My H and I will be in the area and I would like to stay just one night Sun-Mon. When I was on disney.com yesterday, there were plenty of rooms available, but today, I can't even search the date I want. I don't want to call and get my hopes up if there's no hope for me. TIA!

I know my sister was able to make a day-before reservation just last month. I'd just call.

There are signs on the I-95 freeway running through Florida, advertising "Stay in the Magic Tonight!" Is there a reason that you're not planning this now? I'd forget the website and call them directly (407-WDISNEY).

A few years ago my girlfirend and her family (DH, 3 DS's) woke up one moning in February and said to them selves, 'hmm, it's going to be a snow day today and monday is a holiday....let's go to Disney!' They got them selves together, got in the car and went. They called Disney on the way and made a ressie for 4 or 5 nights, drove staight through (16hours) and had no problems getting a room.

I also was wondering about making a reservation for next Christmas I am sure this one is already booked Can you still use Disney transportation is you stay at the Swan & Dolphin Resorts?

yes they have bus transportation to the parks....
