Just back from CR , and here a a few things about it that might help.
ill put it in pro's and con's. stated in garden wing oppisit side of pool.
their for 7 day's.
pro's :
only took about 8-10 min. walk i timed it with my watch, in am or coming home.great because one of my DD is only 4 can't last long .my wife walked back in afternoon for rest.
pool was good and kids liked the big slide alot.
view of lake and canal was nice from our room.
a little of a walk to tower and to get food from grab and go but not bad enough to complain about.(although my DW did all the walking back and fourth)
hotel under lots of constuction in lobby and outside where other wing was ,
you can see giant crains and if you try to listen you can hear them working on the construction , but did not bother any of us at all.
hotel staff very good to us
it was my DD birthday age 7 and we got balloons in our room and a picture of all the characters autographed. they gave her a birthday pin , and i mean everyone stoped and wished her happy birthday
in the hotel and at all the parks ( that pin is a great idea) and excpecialy at the resturants we went to , lots of attention. she ate it all up!!
con's :
room very plain , nothing special at all . and had lots of dust around everything.they don't move anything to clean ,
no balcony to hang out on when kids fell asleep.(had one at wilderness)
sinks in bathroom ridiculous big , hated them
absoutely no room to put things, not enough draws or cabnits and no where to put all the empty suitcases after unpacking.most of our clothes were left on top of the desk's out in open , no where to put them away.
maid service was so bad we had to call twice during our trip , to get them to clean right. garbage bag's not emptyied , floor not vacumed or they just left things on floor. had to always call for more towels.
Pool very dirty lots of feathers and other things , but got used to it , i did not mind so much but DW did not like it at all
our elevator was broken three out of 7 day's and had to use stairs alot, did not like that after walking around all day. we were on third floor.
air condition very loud , but got used to it pretty fast.
to sum up we did have a great time , but would not go back to CR again , for the money i payed i would of liked better and cleaner resort.
next time ill go back to wilderness lodge , it was much better. or i would try one of the others. i heard polyn.resort was good.
all in all i was just glad to be at disney with my kids , and can't wait to go back !!!
im sure i forgot some things if i remember ill let you know or just ask me if you have a specific thing you would like to know
