I have read a couple people recommending that you order some groceries ahead of time and that you can have them waiting for you when you arrive.
I am looking for someone that has done this before. What service did you use (link?)? How did it work? What info did you give them? Did you know which cabin you were staying in ahead of time or did you just have it delivered to Fort Wilderness under your name and Disney took care of the rest.
Any info would be greatly greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I've never used the service, but many people have used netgrocer.com, wegoshop.com and gardengrocer.com. I'd suggest you check them all to see which works best for you financially. They vary on delivery charges, so depending on how much you're ordering one may be the clear best choice for you.
Nobody knows what cabin you'll be given. The service delivers it to the resort, and the resort will hold it for you until you check in. Since there aren't bellmen at the campground, I'm not sure how delivery works - at the other resorts bell services delivers it with your luggage.

Hi! I used GardenGrocer.com last month and it was FLAWLESS. Their Internet site was very easy to use (much like Simon Delivers, if you have that), payment was made through PayPal or credit card, and they were WONDERFUL when I emailed and called them to confirm delivery.
The items were well-packed and came with a packing list. Prices were reasonable. A bit high compared to a Publix or similar, but not out of line for any other delivery service I've used.
I stayed at POFQ and they had both regular and cold storage. I would assume it would be the same at Ft. Wilderness. I had bell services bring it up (only took 8 minutes), but you could go and get it to save a few pennies.
We bought snacks and enough food for breakfasts for 10 days and it was around $60. VERY reasonable. Some of the items I remember for my pre-teen's consumption were doritos, pringles, gushers, cinnamon rolls, donuts (the only thing we didn't like), milk, chocolate milk, cereal, bananas, granola bars, cheese and crackers, beef jerky. I know there was more, but I can't remember right now--
Hope that helps!

We used gardengrocer in March and had water, snacks, diapers and more delivered. We were in the cabins at FW and everything was delivered directly to our cabin BEFORE we even arrived! It was nice after a long cross country flight to have cold soda and milk and no hassle whatsoever. I can't say enough about how nice it was to not have to go shop!
