Since we postponed our last trip to Disneyland I have been debating Thanksgiving week. Weds-Sunday the weekend of Thanksgiving, staying at GCH. Rooms did open up availible (which they have been booked solid). I know it will be crowded, but people still go. I am trying to figure out why? Why in a nice way, because I want to go :p even knowing there will be crowds.
So give me the pros and cons of going that week. Everyone that has experience!!
So far I have: Cons- Crowds \ Pros- Well it's Disneyland BIG PRO, Holiday Decor & good weather (compared to 93 degree heat in Phx).

Pro-most everything is open, long hours, holiday parade and fireworks show, no worrying about work piling up by taking days off, spending time at Disneyland for Thanksgiving versus a full day eating too much and being stuck watching nothing but football!

Pros: Thanksgiving dinner buffet! Open til midnight! Holiday Parade! Fireworks and SNOW! Visits with Santa Claus! Most attractions are open! Usually great weather (warm enough for short sleeves until night when you might need a sweat shirt)! Haunted Mansion Holiday! "it's a small world" holiday! Christmas Trees! Fudge! Holiday Shopping!
Cons: Crowds/lines. But at least the crowds are cheerful!

i have gone 2 years in a row after Thanksgiving and I personally don't even think that its as crowded as the summer months. The lines are really not that long, unless I have just been blinded by all the holiday things going on!!!
pros: You'll be at disneyland...
cons: none, you'll be at disneyland...
