I just booked six seats (bringing my parental units for their first trip to WDW), for our spring break trip. The fares were a bit more than $100 one-way, non-stop, from Philly. BTW, last time I booked they opened the dates at 11:30AM, EST. This time, it opened up sometime between 10AM and 11:25.

For grins and giggles I looked and compared for my upcoming April trip. Their prices from Chicago to Orlando have jumped quite a bit. Heck, even AA was cheaper on some flights. No more sub-$200 flights no matter what time of day.
I even checked going out of Indy, and they were still around $10 higher compared to what I got on NWA.
And I have a feeling with the gas prices going up, air travel is only going to get more expensive as well. In other words, I dont really blame SWA on their price increases as I think it just the direction the industry is going.
Now, more than ever, its important to really compare airlines, specific flight times, and available airports when trying to get a good fare for their trips.

We are going to Disney from May 30 to June 8. I check each and every day on airline costs, as I go to all the websites as well as sites like Orbitz and Expedia. We will be flying from Indianapolis to MCO (Orlando). I cannot believe the prices, actually I can. They have gone up and right now the cheapest is Air Tran at $900 for four people.

My husband is doing a lot of business travel on Southwest, and he is, finally, allowed to "keep" his frequent flyer credits. I'm hoping that, by the time I book for our June trip, he will, at least, be able to fly for free. He had a problem on a prior trip, and when he complained to Southwest, they sent him a $50 voucher, which I applied to this booking.
