We are staying at the WL the last week of Jan 08.

I know that they have options for transportation, boats and busses. I was wondering how long it takes on these modes of Transport to the the parks.

We also have reservations for meals both Breakfast and Dinner at the Contemporary and Polynesian and the Hoop-dee-do at Ft Wildreness and was curious as to which is the best mode of transportation and about how long it takes to to get to these destinations.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I use this wizard (http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/asp/twiz.aspx) to give me a rough estimate as to how long it will take to get from A to B and by what method. To add on some extra time to allow for wait times as well.

Fort Wilderness is walkable from the Wilderness Lodge, but the trail isn't lit, so you probably wouldn't want to walk that after dark.

Thanks for sharing that link--I jotted down the approx times for our different travels! Great info for a newbie like me, especially finding out which type of transportation is available for each park/resort.

We will have a car, but will use Disney transportation sometimes too!

your gonna love going in January! Low crowds, less than full buses, pleasant weather! We love going in January & will be at the Wilderness Lodge during the third week of Jan. ourselves!
It will be the first time our boys have been to WL - I think they'll like it.
