I saw at the Disney site that the Pirate and Princess Party was being held in Jan, Feb, and March. Does anyone know if these are the only dates in 2008 or do they usually add additional dates as the year progresses? We were planning to go the first week in June and I was really hoping to go to that party. Thanks!

Wish I could tell you, but I do not know. But I hope you can go to it. Of all the fireworks I have ever seen at WDW or DL, this was by far the best of the best.

I wouldn't expect to see Pirate & Princess in June. If they run it again after the January-March dates (Jan. 21, 26, 29, Feb. 2, 5, 9, 14, 22, 26, March 1, 6, 11, 14), expect to see it in the second half of August and early September.

In June, you've got Flower & Garden ending June 1, likely Star Wars Weekends, and that's about it. Crowds start swelling in June, so the special events start disappearing.

what happened with the April dates? I saw them on the DTA site in the park hours section for April

do they close the park early on the nights of this party? i have written down from the calender a few weeks ago that MK is open til 8pm with the normal fireworks scheduled at 8pm, on 3 of the nights (late jan/early feb) that this party is now scheduled to run on, and from what i can see of the party information, the party starts at 7.30pm with fireworks at 9.45.

does the party mean those previous plans will now change and the park will close early with no fireworks (other than the P&P ones)?

The park will close at 7:00 with Wishes at 6:30. The party runs from 7-12.

Didn't they bump the party time to 7:30 - 12:30? That's when the P&PP began last August.

I think that they may have moved the start time back in August because it gets dark later during the summer.
