I'm taking my sister to DL for her *mumble mumble* birthday in April, and I'd like to do something special for her at the park, but all of the birthday "goodies" seem to be of the high-sugar variety. Does anyone know if DL has low/no sugar options available that I can arrange for ahead of time?

Try checking with Disney Dining (714-781-DINE) and ask them what is available at Storytellers Cafe in the GCH. We have always had great luck there when we have had family members with special diets, the chef is great about accommodating all different needs.

Thanks, letitsnow. I'm determined she WILL have a birthday treat, even if I have to make it up myself.

If you can't find anything to arrange ahead of time, the Gibson Girl ice cream parlor does have sugar free ice cream.

They have the last several times I have been. It has always been Butter Pecan, but I don't know if they ever change it. It is pretty good though.
