Hi,

This is my first post on MousePad, just got activated :D

My family and I love Disneyland and we have APs ... just got back from a week in DLR 10/22-10/25, yes the week of outrageous heat and yucky air quality...we still had fun though :)

My youngest daughter is turning 4 in February and we are planning a weekend trip Friday 2/22-Sunday 2/24.

We're going to make PS reservations (family dinner) 60 days in advance ... is there any particular restaurant you'd recommend for a birthday for a 4 year old girl? Also any particular meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) for that special birthday touch?

We've done Ariel's Grotto for lunch and Goofy's for breakfast and were wondering if there were better options for birthdays.

TIA :)

I don't have any suggestions, but welcome to Mouse Planet :D. Last Feb. we celebrated my DSs 7th birthday at WDW. We were able to eat at Chef Mickeys for his dinner and had so much fun. It was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday. The only place I can think of is Plaza Inn on Main St. I don't know what they do though. I think they have character breakfasts. DL just doesn't have many choices when it comes to that kind of stuff.

Go for either Goofy's Kitchen for dinner, or Ariel's, depending on what your daughter is in to. My 3 year old is having a Goofy's dinner this week for her bday, but she is not yet much in to the princesses yet so the characters at Goofy's are more her speed. The characters at Storytellers (for brekafast only) are pretty limited and somewhat obscure IMO, but their food is GREAT. We also have done Minnie and Friends breakfast several times and enjoyed it.

A totally different suggestion, she is the perfect age to enjoy this, too, is to book the Very Merry Un-Birthday Party at Plaza Inn. They give each person a little cake to decorate and the characters sing songs and play a game, it is really cute! I believe it is at something like 2 and 4 in the afternoon most days.

You guys rock! Thanks for the ideas. I hadn't heard of the Very Merry Un-Birthday at the plaza! Any more? :)

We are celebrating my granddaughter's fourth birthday the end of February, too. We have reservations at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.

This is a buffet with the Cinderella characters.
