We are going to the Treat tonight, but will be hanging out at Disneyland first.

My question...is parking free for the event only or is it good for earlier in the day? We are planning on getting there around 4 p.m. Has anyone had a problem with this?

You should be fine. I have gone before a little later than that and had no problem, i think they anticipate people eating dinner on site beforehand.
