This thing is DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!!!! It flickers and glints and thinks I'm stupid enough to believe it and get sucked in. Can't you get rid of it?

It's annoying isn't it! It's like, seizure!

We're not ignoring you - the entire administrative/IT staff is in Florida right now. (The roll eyes are strictly an envy/bitter issue, not a pissyness at my colleagues issue.) I'm sure they'll take a look at it as soon as they get back to their laptops. I'm confident that each and everyone took their laptops with them. :geek:

Thank you for letting us know about it. As for you being sucked in by it, we can't fix that. ;)

There is no chance I will be sucked in by it. Anyway - it appears to have gone now so thanks whoever got rid of it.

Do you see the ad on MousePad or MousePlanet or both? Can you look at it long enough to see what company or service is being advertised?

This information will help me track it down and kill it.

I've only seen it when I'm on the discussion boards. If I see it again I'll have a look - normally I log off or scroll away. If you click the x to close the box it takes you further in (don't you just hate that)? Is it possible that in the UK we see different pop ups and things as I think Vegitabetta (sp - sorry) is in the UK too and she's obviously been irritated by it too.

I don't think we have any geo-targeted ads. Thanks for what you have given me so far. I'm trying to track it down.

They should be gone. If you still see them, log out, clear your browser's cache and log back in.

Thankyou for looking into this - but I'm a child protection specialist and an IT idiot. Clearing my browser cache does not commute  !

No not again tonight. I've kept the site open whilst working on a policy for work and I've been popping in and out of MousePad and for now (at least) it appears to have gone again.

I haven't seen it for a while, maybe it's gone!
