Rufus T Firefly 10-24-2007, 06:39 PM The Carnation Cafe is always a good choice. Say hello to Oscar while you're there.
Darkbeer 10-24-2007, 06:53 PM I prefer MiMi's on the corner of Harbor and Manchester.
If you want in park, Cafe Orleans is a good choice, about $10 per person and table service.
DizneyMommy 10-24-2007, 06:56 PM Carnation on Main St for sure. But make PS reservations if you don't want to wait in line.
Gone2Disneyland 10-24-2007, 07:33 PM I vote Carnation Café on Main Street, USA too. Table service. Good food. Decent pricing. I have a Flickr gallery of shots of different Disneyland food. Here's a spread of breakfast selections my friends and I ordered on a visit to Carnation Café earlier this year. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/gone2disneyland/545868468/in/set-72157600373678627/)

I'm with Darkbeer on Mimi's--a MUCH better value, though it can be fun to eat inside the park, especially when using the miles obtained via your Disney Visa.
Morgan Spurlock ("Supersize Me") has written about how restaurant customers equate perceived quality with healthiness, so that (according to him) guests would read "applewood-smoked bacon" on Disney's menu and incorrectly think it's healthier.

As a Mimi's bonus you may run into some interesting characters on Harbor.
Rufus T Firefly 10-24-2007, 08:18 PM OK, here's another idea. If you're heading to the park via the 57S take the Lincoln exit (right before Ball) head west for about a mile and you will find The Pancake House. A local landmark restaurant that has been serving breakfast for the past 40 plus years.

Wow, I didn't know there were any other ones around locally besides the one near me in Redondo Beach. Of course, why else would I need to look anywhere else? :p Here's their website (http://www.originalpancakehouse.com/index.html) with pictures and menu. Darn, now I'm hungry for pancakes.
bloodnswash 10-25-2007, 07:07 AM We always eat at least once at Steak House 55 for breakfast when visiting DLR. We love it there!!! Great service and food. And the prices aren't too bad either. About $10.00 per person...and you get a decent amount of food.
BarbD 10-25-2007, 08:06 AM My favorite breakfast is in DCA. They serve sour dough bowls with scrambled eggs in it and a side of bacon, and a couple orange slices. Its very inexpensive too. I think less than $7 (Can ge a discount if your an AP) This feeds my husband and I too.

Would that be the Original Pancake House? I LOVE them pancakes!!!
beansf 10-25-2007, 11:42 AM I had a really good breakfast at Rainforest Cafe recently. I thought it was better than the dinners I have had there in the past. Plus, they seated my party of 6 very quickly. Of course, this was the day we were leaving (Saturday, Oct. 20) and the rest of the world was already in the park. I highly recommend "Ozzie's Omelette".

I just spent about half an hour looking at all of the Disneyland food on your album - it made me so hungry. When I'm there in a couple of weeks, I think I will try somethings that I haven't tried before. Thanks for sharing your pics!
MrsPooh 10-25-2007, 03:46 PM I vote Carnation Cafe too. Their breakfast items are under $10, and that cinnamon roll French toast is to DIE FOR!
MrPooh loves the croissant benedict too.
DlandAmanda 10-25-2007, 04:19 PM I know that you probably already ate breakfast but for others, I like Le Brea in Downtown Disney. I always feel healthy eating there and they have fresh juices. I suggest there Lemonade it's so sour, I love it but maybe not for breakfast.
