Could someone please checkout this link?
http://mousepad.mouseplanet.com/showthread.php?t=79761&page=3
The link doesn't take me to page #3, it takes me to #2. I'm wondering if it's a problem with the board or the way my IE 'security' settings are configured?

What is your default setting for posts per page?

Forum default. I've never changed it, and I've never had it work that way.
I can cut & paste the url into a fresh browser and it never displays the third page. It always reverts to the second page...
Oh, and just to test, what happens when you click on the url I provided, do you see the third page?

Ah... Another data point. I can actually see all of the posts. Since I made the last post, I just realized that there are only two pages of posts on that thread.
The 'bug' must be in the code that renders the page and thinks that there are more than two pages of posts...

It's not a bug per se. The problem comes in that people can change their settings for posts-per-page. If someone has changed their setting to show fewer posts per page, a thread that appears to you to have two pages might have three pages for them. If that person then sends you a link to what they see as the third page of the thread, vBulletin figures you meant to see the end of the thread.

Actually, I got the link within the rendered page. The part that shows how many pages are available within the thread. So when I click into the thread, it indicates there are three pages. So when I click on '3' or 'last', I get to page two.
Now I understand that is the 'right answer'. I come back to the point, why did it offer me up the information that there were three pages of thread, when there were only two? It's clearly not a 'fatal' error, since all of the posts are visible. It's more of an annoyance bug...
Just to reiterate, I didn't and never have changed any profile values that address the number of posts per page.

You might try the vBulletin support website (http://www.vbulletin.com/support.php).

I've had this happen to me before as well, and I've got default settings. At first, it just really confused me. But as soon as I figured out that I was seeing all the posts, I just figured it was something wonky with the software. I've only had it happen maybe 2 or 3 times.
