I'm starting to think towards our trip in May when we'll have a 3 1/2 month old with us and am wondering about Magical Express and their arrangements for children in car seats.
Do they have seat belts to secure the car seat, thereby securing the child? I don't remember seat belts for the rest of us and wasn't sure how they expect parents to deal with a child that small who requires a car seat for ground transportation.
Or would we be better off getting a car service like Tiffany's? We've done that before for ourselves, but were hoping to take advantage of the free ride from MCO to WDW.
I looked around some on the MP website and when I found the article Lani wrote in 2005 when ME was introduced, it didn't address this issue.
TIA.

It's a bus, and there are no seat belts, so there is no way to secure a car seat. The internal bus service won't have seat belts, either. You need to use your own judgment on this, but if you are uncomfortable with your child on a bus, you could rent a car at the airport, and drive yourself everywhere, with your child secured in a car seat. You can rent a car seat from a car rental company, but it adds significantly to the cost of the rental. I suggest you bring your own car seat.

Thanks, mom22gls, I do know about no seat belts on the internal buses, and we are planning to bring the car seat with us and actually rent a car, but it's chepare to rent in oniste at WDW than it is to get it at the airport, so we just need a safe way to get to the resort. Then the car rental place will pick DH up there and he can go get the car.
Sounds like we should get a car service from the airport in order to be sure the baby's secure from there to the resort.

If you really want to do this, then you might want to reconsider renting at the airport. With the extra expense of a car service to/from the airport, you are most likely going to eat up any savings you might have seen by renting at WDW.
Keep in mind, I am assuming you are renting a car for the duration of your trip and not just for a day or two / as needed. In any case, just compare all costs, including tips, taxes, etc., and see which way will cause you to come out ahead.
ETA: Just saw that your next trip will be a DCL Land and Sea trip, so I see why you would want to rent from a WDW location. So while the above may not pertain to you, maybe it will help someone else. :)

Thanks for the extra advice, GusMan. Perhaps it will end up cheaper in the long run to get the car from the airport. We'd be returning it before going to the port for the cruise and riding with a large group to the prot in a van, so I'll get DH to do some research and see what'd end up being best for us.
