Can someone tell me if it is easier to drive to/from the parks from the Dolphin or from CSR? My dad and I are planning on staying at Disney on July 3 & 4, just to see the fireworks. We will have a car, as we are staying with friends at their condo before hand. Dad and I both do not have the greatest sense of direction, and I am a little leery of driving on Disney property. I was hoping to stay at either the Poly or CR, so that we could just hop on the monorail, but don't want to spend almost $400 a night on a room. Would it be easy to find our way from either the Dolphin or Coronado Springs? Do you think one is better than the other for ease of driving?

I don't think it matters at all. The roads are clearly marked and even if you miss a turn there's always another road sign soon.

I think you can walk to Epcot from the Swan/Dolphin and that there's the boat to the Studios too.

We usually drive everywhere but the MK, we take the bus there to avoid the TTC transfer.

You can get to Epcot from Swan/Dolphin by either boat or by walking. You can get to the Studios by boat and you have to cross the street if you walk.

CSR you need a bus to get everywhere.

There is no street to cross if you're at the Swan/Dolphin and want to walk to the Studios - cross over the water to the Boardwalk and walk along the water to the park.

If you have park hopping tickets, you could walk to Epcot, walk through it, and then monorail to the TTC and then to the MK, if you didn't want to take the bus from the Swan/Dolphin and decided not to drive.

There's one thing to remember when navigating the roads of WDW. Because there are so many destinations (parks, hotels, golf courses, etc.), they do things in zones. The Dolphin would be an Epcot hotel, so the signs will say EPCOT RESORTS. On your way into the property are large signs that list all hotels and what zone they're in. I'm not sure what area the CSR is in - someone will probably chime in. Just follow these area signs and you'll do fine.

IIFC, CSR is in the DAK Resort Area, along with the All Stars, AKL, BB, and the McDonalds. CSR is on the right hand side of the road as you are headed toward DAK.
