I had a friend who just came back from DL and had bought a brick with her family's name on it. Can anyone give me more information on the brick and maybe send me a brochure? I only know it's $150 and the acrylilc copy is $30.
Can anyone help?

I'm going to DL this weekend, and I'd be happy to pick you up a brochure. If you would like to PM me your address, I have no problem sending one to you.
You might also check (if you have not already) Disney.com, cause they may have a special section there regarding them.
Let me know! Good luck!

Traci, that would be fantastic if you could send me a brochure. When DCA first opened, there was a bit about ordering the bricks on disneyland.com, but since I didn't see the advertisment anymore, I assumed that they had stopped selling them. I will definitely PM my address to you. Thank you SO much!
Does anyone else have a Disney Brick? If so, what does it have on it?

I don't have one, but I have noticed that they have a lot of blank ones left. I was just at the Brick Booth last night as a matter of fact (asking another type of question).

They used to be $200, but nobody bought them, so they lowered it to $150. I'm waiting until they cost $20. :D

I don't get why someone wants to pay $150 to have their name on a brick next to a theme park.
I can see getting a brick made to put in the patio of one's own home - if you're into that sort of thing....well...at least more then having it at DLR.
Is there any sort of guarantee as to how long they leave them there?

I was told that it was guarateed to be installed for 10 years at the park. That is not a bad deal. It's like renting out space for your family brick at $15 a year.

We have our brick out there and use it as a meeting location for any of our out of town visitors. We dont require that the entire group be waiting on the brick but just somewhere near it.
We never gave it much thought as a waste of money as we have wasted money before and bottom line is--------it dosent matter.

I just thought of something! I guess us people who have or want a brick are those same people that used to write on the walls in bathrooms when we were kids, just to let everyone know we were there! LOL :D
Am I outta the ball park in my way of thinking, or does this make sense for some of you? he he he he :D

I have a brick. It was a gift that my brother gave me for Christmas. We actually bought it when we went to the park for Uncle Walt's 100th birthday, so that's the date I put on it.
It's like a souvenier to me. I have the acrylic replica on my dresser at home and it makes me smile when I remember what a great day we had. I also like to see it when I'm at the Park. I can't explain it. It just makes me happy. It was a nice gift.
And, no, I would never THINK of graffitti-ing anything. Not when I was a kid, and not now!

Does anyone have the exact website for this? I can't seem to find it @ disneyland.com.

You can sponser a brick for $150.00. It is garanteed for 10 years. After that time, the resort can do whatever they like with that part of their property. You will not be able to have the brick if it is removed. But if it is removed before the 10 years is up, then you get your money back. If you were to sponser one now, it would be in by December. The wooden and acrylic replicas are $30.00 extra each. There is a $2.25 charge if you live in CA or FL, for shipping and handling. Within 2 weeks to 2 months you'll get your certificate of authenicty in the mail along with your replica (if you buy one.) That is about it. Oh, if you want to order one, you can do so at the brick cart in between the two parks, or you can call : 800-362-4533. Hope that I helped!! ;)
