Hi all...I've just read that there are massage services available at the Sturdy Branches Health Club (I think I got the name right!) and was wondering if anyone had tried the therapist there? Are they in room or do they have private therapy rooms in the health club?

The very good news is that Niki Bryan Spa has taken over all the Deluxe massage services, and they hire VERY talented people and keep them happy, from what I've experienced over the years!

Your chance of getting a good massage is excellent.

I'd call them and ask your question about the Sturdy Branches facility. They will have a massage room, and they do list that they have a sauna, but I'd double check that.

Honestly, at the Wilderness Lodge you are a reasonable boat/monorail or bus/monorail or walk trek away from the Spa at the Grand Floridian, which is full service with robes, a whirlpool, lockers, cosmetic services, etc. You could also get a cab quickly and cheaply over there.

I just had a massage at the GF Spa and it was VERY expensive and very wonderful. The therapist was terrific. I had sat funny on the plane ride down and she "stripped" the area around my right hip and stretched my neck in an unusual way. Nothing she did hurt and I walked away feeling very refreshed and relaxed. It was a whopping $155 with the tip for 50 minutes!!!

Would I do it again? Probably. I used my birthday money so it wasn't out of pocket cash. They did have a foot and leg massage for $45 for 30 minutes. I think that is a really, really good deal.

I was happy with my experience. I snapped a couple of quick pictures when no one was around and I will post it with that day's trip report (planning on writing it tomorrow).
