For lack of a better topic name.

I was wondering if you guys know if the companies that appear on the banner advertising are all legit? I saw one for pinecone surverys that pay you $5.00 a survey, want to do it, but want to know if its for real.

I know that you guys don't run this yourselves and contract it in.

Actually, I can vouch for Pinecone. I've been a member for a year or so and have done a number of surveys for them. Best of all, they pay you upfront! Pretty good, eh?

On the topic of making $$.

I am on the lists of a few Research companies. I don't know who they are up there, but, if you look in the Yellow Pages you might be able to find them. Or, look in the newspaper, they ask for people for surveys, panel discussions, or research on something.

Some pay a little, some pay a lot. I like best the ones {companies} I am familiar with and don't much go for the off the wall ones but you can ask around the college and see what any one else has done.

You might also call them {Taylor is one} and see if you can get put on their list. Tell them something like someone you met told you about it and it sounds like something you might gain from, use even the fact that you are in college, it might help. They like educated people. :)

Hope it works out. I have done a lot of these over the years. Even at the mall they do them. But, you make more at the other ones. And, I don't like ruining my chances of doing a better paid one {as they ask you when was the last time you did one} later. This can disqualify you.

Hey, all of my kids have even done them!! Only one who hasn't is the hubby. {Kids were paid in cash and in toys!!}

I have one that I belong to where if you qualify (ie answer the questions correctly) you go in for a discussion. They usually pay around $50. But what I've found is if I go in close to the scheduled time and they already have enough people I get paid and get to go home.

I've actually only done that once, but boy was it nice to get paid for doing nothing. Unlike getting paid to play with you guys.:D
