Is the home schoolers day in the park usually over the top busy? We were there last year at that time of the year and didn't notice any one day busier than the rest.
Was it at the same time last year?
We will be there again this year on Feb. 1st and it kinda freaked me out to see an event scheduled for during our trip.

I would guess it wouldn't have much of an affect on the crowds. We homeschool and I have been an avid Disneyland fan for years. I just recently heard about this event. It doesn't seem like they advertise it very well in the homeschool communities outside of CA.

Wasn't there another homeschool day just in September? I thought we barely missed being there for that time. We usually go in the fall so I don't know what a normal February is like. We do enjoy the perk of being able to go to Disneyland when we want because of homeschooling but I don't plan my trip around an actual "homeschool" day. I would imagine crowds would be higher ig there was a convention or somethin like that.

That was probably the "Not Back to School Day", September 19. February 1 is the "Annual (un)Official Homeschool Day".

Looks like only a few hundred people attended last year. We will be there too that week and I think we will be just fine. We may have some leftovers from the Canon convention...

Yeah, according to their site only 300 attended last year, that's not enough to make a difference in the feel of how crowded it is on a slow off-season day. Plus, they don't offer any group rates or any special program during the day, that may be why they don't have a very large turnout.
