I've been thru this drill lots of times. Make PS for Goofy's Kitchen for the first dinner seating or the last.

Advantages of the first?

Fresh buffet
fresh characters
better service


Advantages of the last?

Can stay at the park longer but sacrafice food variety, characters being worn out and tired as well as the staff.


I've made my PS for 5PM, hoping that we don't linger there too long (yeah, right) and head back to the park by 6:30PM (DL closes at 8pm that night). Hoping for a schedule change with extended hours, but not likely.

What do you think? Amber the great gal at the 781-DINE number was very helpful...She said that the 8:00PM or last 8:30PM seating wouldn't be as nice 5:00PM. Getting the tail-end of the buffet and characters might not be such a good thing. The characters make their last appearance at 8:40.

Any thoughts? :confused:

I think Amber was very kind to be so honest with you. I would take her advice and book the early dinner PS. Character dining is always such a blast that you guys won't even miss being in the park. Plus, it does cost a pretty penny for Goofy's Kitchen for dinner that I would want to get the most out of it (both food and character experience wise). That's my 2 cents, but I think you will have a great time whatever you decide.Have Fun!

Yes, my son never want to miss Goofy's Kitchen. I guess I'd better take Amber's advise and get the best experience since you're right, Goofy's isn't cheap!
