Just have returned from a 10 day trip to lovely Florida.

I am an AP holder for Disneyland and was plesantly surprised that I was able to use my pass for parking and discounts! Everyday at the parking lots, I showed my pass just as I do at Disneyland and was waved through. Only once was I told, "this doesn't work here...but just this once I'll let you through, next time you have to pay..." Saved my family $88! Also was able to get a 20% discount on food not only on a $ restaurant at Animal Kingdom but also at a $$$ (Princess luncheon) at epcot. Was pleasantly surprised to be at epcot for their 25th anniversary! On that same day, my entire family won the YOMD ears. They had no idea why I decided to get in line for an activity at Innoventions...but was quite happy when they receieved the ears! My nieces also had cast-members award them YOMD certificates for activities two other times. I go to Disneyland at least once a week and have yet to win anything associated with the YOMD promotion. So this was very nice!

That is my mini-report. Very glad to be home although Disneyworld was fantastic, I love Disneyland far more...

Wow, good for you!! Getting the dreams is great. On our trip in June we were there for 11 days and only received one dream, and my son got it, and I wasn't there to even get a picture. LOL

Glad to hear you had a nice time. Thanks for posting!

Ya know...some folks who love Disneyland and visit WDW, really have their hearts in Disneyland. I wish someday I could get over there to visit DL and leave a piece of my heart there too. :fez:

I gotta wonder if WDW really accepts a DL AP for discounts, or if CM's just didn't look close enough to notice the difference. But anyway, glad you had a great time!

I was wondering the same thing. We are going to WDW next month for the first time and we are AP holders for Disneyland. That would sure save us a lot of money if this is true!

Officially, they are not supposed to.

Here is what it says in the terms and conditions of the DLR Annual Pass regarding parking:

PARKING: The parking benefit, as applicable, is subject to availability and valid only in the DisneylandŽ Resort's Mickey & Friends parking structure. Parking is not guaranteed. Benefit not valid on an Annual Passport's corresponding blockout days. Annual Passholder must be in vehicle to receive parking benefit.
