You may feel baffled by the sheer number of abbreviations and acronyms used here in MousePad. Some of the more common ones (as well as some common words) you see may include the following. You may also go to the Internet Acronym Dictionary (http://www.gaarde.org/acronyms/) for Internet-specific acronyms.

AA - Audio-Animatronics. The robot characters in the attractions.
ADR - Advanced Dining Reservations, the restaurant reservation system at WDW
AFAIK - As far as I know
AFK - Away from keyboard
AK - Disney's Animal Kingdom (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BF0000) park in at WDW in Orlando, Florida
AKL - Animal Kingdom Lodge (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BLD000), an on-property WDW resort hotel
AP - Annual Passport: Available in different levels (lower-priced APs have blockout dates; highest-priced is the premium AP)
APer - Annual Passholder: A person who has an AP

BatB - Beauty and the Beast
BB - Blizzard Beach, water park in WDW
Bears or CBJ - Country Bear Jamboree. Now only open in WDW.
Big Thunder - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, an attraction in Frontierland at both DL and WDW
BRB - Be right back
BTMRR - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, an attraction in Frontierland at both DL and WDW
BTW - By the way
BWV - Boardwalk Villas (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BLH000), a WDW DVC resort

CBR - Caribbean Beach Resort (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BLI000), an on-property WDW resort hotel
CM - cast member ("employee" in Disney-speak)
CoP - Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress
CP - Candlelight Processional, a Christmas celebration that occurs at Disneyland and Walt Disney World
CR - Casual Regular (type of CM, a.k.a. "C status"): Works everything that a CT does, plus all weekends. Also Grad Nites and special events in the evening, as needed. More seniority, so shifts are longer.
CS - Casual Seasonal (type of CM)
CSR - Coronado Springs Resort (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BLK000), an on-property WDW resort hotel
CT - Casual Temporary (type of CM): Works summers, Christmas, Spring Break. During these periods, usually works five days a week but generally much less than 40 hours total (short shifts)

E-Ticket - Highest-valued ticket required for admission into the most elaborate attractions in the earlier days when each attraction required a separate ticket (instead of using an all-day pass). Now adopted into American vernacular, meaning anything worth a lot of bang for the buck. Also the name of a popular Disney fan magazine.
ECV - Electronic Convenience Vehicle such as Rascal scooters
EE - Early Entry program
El Cap - The El Capitan Theater (http://cms.disney.go.com/disneypictures/el_capitan/) in Hollywood, CA, owned by Disney and used for Disney movie premiers.
ELP - Main Street Electrical Parade, now known as DEP in DCA
EMH - Extra Magic Hours, extended hours offered at Disney Parks

Fab Five - Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto
FFF - Flik's Fun Fair (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=ABA000), a new area in Disney's California Adventure park and inspired by the movie A Bug's Life (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0120623)
FP - Fastpass ticket: a free chit with a printed time that indicates the time you can go on an attraction without waiting in line

GC - Guest Control: A method of controlling crowds and traffic, such as during Fantasmic

GF - Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (http://www.mouseplanet.com/guide.php?pg=BLN000), an on-property WDW resort hotel
Grad Nite - After the close of regular park hours, high school seniors are bused in to spend the entire night in the park

HISTA - Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, in Tomorrowland in DL at in the Imagination pavilion at Epcot in WDW
HM - Haunted Mansion. Note: Attraction at Disneyland and WDW's Magic Kingdom is not referred to as the "Haunted House." Also, but not often, "Hidden Mickeys."
HMH - Haunted Mansion Holiday, when the Haunted Mansion has a Nightmare Before Christmas (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0107688) layover.
HOB - House of Blues
Hub - The central hub at the end of Main Street in Disneyland. Traditional site of Sunday noon Disney discussion board meets.
