I know you can get Birthday buttons in the parks, but has anyone ever requested to have them delivered to your room so they are there when you check in? We're staying at PPH.

I was looking at the gift baskets that they offer and one included the birthday badge. I'm too cheap to buy the whole basket (I'd rather make my own), but a birthday badge with a balloon would be great.

When we were down for my b-day in 2005, my youngest, being the cute little thing she is, told them at the desk when we were checking that we were there for my birthday. They gave me a b-day button during the check-in.

So just tell when you check in. :)

Another idea is to email vacation planning. They will be happy o arrange for autographed pictures and buttons at checkin free of charge. vacationplanning@disneyonline.com MY daughter turned 7 the day we arrived in February and loved this special touch!

Thank you for the ideas. We will be there celebrating my older daughter turning 16 and my little one turning 3! It is hard to say who is more excited........them or me!

When we were checking in on the evening of 9/17, the CM asked "are you celebrating anything during your stay?" I said yes, our anniversary (we didn't celebrate it in August, saving up the celebration for September, LOL), and she gave a big smile, excused herself, and went in back for several LONG minutes.

When she came out, she had 6 red and pink balloons for us, and a green and purple balloon for DS, AND Happy Anniversary buttons for DH and me.

So they weren't waiting in our room, but we didn't have to go to City Hall to get the buttons, either!
