What time have people checked in to get a good seat for Riverside seating? They said to check in at 7:00. Can you check in earlier?

I've never done Riverside, but I have done The Balcony several times. The Balcony seating was always based on who called for reservations first; so our seats were already determined for us. Have fun! Malcon10t 10-02-2007, 06:35 AM What time have people checked in to get a good seat for Riverside seating? They said to check in at 7:00. Can you check in earlier? No, no one will be there earlier. The crew usually starts set up around 630, but the hostesses show up about 7pm. ekkhogge 10-03-2007, 01:49 PM We just did the Riverside for the first time 9/22. We got in line about 6:45ish. We were standing behind I would guess at least 15 people but how many of them were together, I am not sure, but we did manage to get front row seats. The line started earlier but they didn't start the seating arrangement until 7. So you can line up but you won't be able to actually pick your seats til 7. What I didn't realize was that the line up was for both the 1st and 2nd shows so even though it may seem long, some of them were there for the 2nd show and so we got front row seats. LaurensMom 10-11-2007, 12:07 PM Have they changed the desserts for the Riverside seating since they did away with the Balcony? BklynChick 10-12-2007, 07:34 PM OK, the CM explained to me that you check in at 7pm and that is when they determine where you are sitting, and then you come back about 15-20 minutes before the show. We want to catch the 5:15pm Block Party Bash from Sunshine Plaza and then grab dinner at Naples. If we do this, I'm figuring we won't get to check in until about 7:15 - 7:30pm. Do you think this will be a problem? Are all the seats really good viewing, even in the middle - to - back of the section? I'm willing to sacrifice a bit to not have to miss the parade or hurry through dinner, but I still want to have a good view. Boy do I miss balcony seating.... LaurensMom 10-19-2007, 03:14 PM Anyone have any advice on what time we should line up prior to check-in at for the premiere viewing? Also, with a 2 yr old is it possible to come back 5-10 mins prior to show time or do you have to be there 2 hours prior? When you are seated, they get your drinks and desserts, so the 2yo should be entertained. |
