I am researching for a first DCL cruise and have a few questions.

1) Do you have to pay for Bingo? If so how much?
2) Do you have to pay for the Alice & Mad Hatter tea party? If so how much and can you book this in advance?
3) How much is the children's (3-4 age) program?
4) Are the couselors there background checked?

Thanks!!

1. Yes, you do pay for bingo. If I remember correctly, it is $25-30 for a game card good for 5 games. Each bingo session runs the full game card.

2. No charge for the tea party, although I've always known it as Tea with Wendy (from Peter Pan). I've never seen it listed as an Alice themed tea party.

3. No charge for the kids program. The only charge for kids is for Flounder's Nursery. As long as your 3-4 year old is out of diapers, they can be in the Oceaneer's Club program, which is free.

4. They are thoroughly background checked. They also work on the buddy system - making sure no staff member is ever alone with a child - there are always two of them.

Bingo can get expensive over the course of your cruise but it is a lot of fun. We hit one of the bigger jackpots on the last day which of course covered our four days of investment plus about $200 bucks!
