I need help!!!! I am ready to book and I am debating going next year the first week of December because we have never been during Christmas Decorations before.Whats the weather like then? Is October more exciting with MNSSHP?(I was there one in 2001 for it but it was rather quiet after 9-11).Are the decorations a must see????

I really really like the Food & Wine Festival in October. If you haven't done that, and enjoy trying new things, that might tip the scales. I wouldn't decide on an October trip just for the Halloween Party, especially since you can just substitute the Christmas Party with your timing.

But I really really like Christmas, too. There's a TON of stuff going on regarding the holidays, plus you might be close to MouseFest, so that's another draw (to get to meet people from the internet in a safe environment!)

I've had really really warm weather in October, and fairly cool weather in October (same trip even!) - and I've had shorts weather in early December and needing to add a sweatshirt in the evenings.

October or December? My answer is YES. Seriously, both times are really great. October features the incredible Food & Wine Festival in Epcot, while December brings out all the amazing seasonal decor and music and shows in all of the parks and hotels. Pick one - you won't be disappointed!

I never been to either but I'm going in December of 2009 for my next trip. I would love to see the Christmas events and there is Mousefest. You can do a blue-teenie induced hustle!
