I would like to know good places to view the fireworks outside the park.
I know that some people have mentioned the top of the parking garage, or the concierge room at the Grand Californian - but how about for Downtown Disney, restaurants, and the resort hotels??

the balcony of Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DTD has a great view. Also Tortilla Jo's but not as good. A lot of people will simply camp out in the esplande and watch for free from there, too, though I don't know how great that view is.

The Pool Deck of the Paradise Pier Hotel has a great view, and also Disney pipes in the soundtrack from the park.

Other places I like, the roof of the Parking Structure (good view of the actual launches.

And my favorite place, the Hot Tub at HoJo's, just sit in the south east corner and enjoy.

The tod Family used to watch them from the Spaghetti Station parking lot, standing on the curbs at Ox Road.

Unfortunately, the Sheraton enclosed that area and installed a gate.

Still oughta be good though, if you don't mind shelling out a buck or two for parking.
