Anyone stayed at the Hilton at Downtown Disney? I know they are eligible for Extra Magic Hours but was wondering how the other ammenities were. Transportation? Kid Friendly? Any info is appreciated

It is a nice place but to be honest, for the same amount of cash, (if I actually had to pay for the room - I stayed on points) I would have rather stayed at a Disney moderate resort. No real complaints, though.

The interesting part is that our room at POR was actually bigger than the room at this Hilton.

Thanks for the link, I agree about the moderates but I waited a bit to late as I am going for 5 days in October and could only get in at a moderate for the last two days. Without going up in my budget considerably the Hilton looks like my only current option to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours. I am checking back with WDW daily to see if any cancellations have occured. Again thanks for the help!!

Does the Hilton participate in the EMHs? I thought it was for Disney resorts only. I hope I'm wrong!

Yes. this Hilton does participate in EMH's. You just have to show your room card (and valid admission ticket) just like you would if you were a Disney resort hotel guest.
