I got a postcar/brochure thing in the mail this weekend welcoming us back to POFQ. OK, cool. The unusual thing was that it gave the hotel's general manager's name and a contact phone number! I thought that was interesting! Anyone else starting to get that? It's a good start to have a name/number should anything go awry (not that it ever has, but ya know.....)

I think I've gotten that same thing once or twice before. Pretty 'proactive' on the customer service, I think!

Yep, we got a similar card before our trip to POR in Aug. I think we got similar cards for other past trips as well.

I received one for the first time before last month's trip to WL. I think it is new, because we were there in 2006, and did not get one then.

last time i stayed at POFQ was in May/June. didn't get anything like that, but I did get a voicemail from the girl who checked me in asking me to call her if there was anything else i needed which i thought was a bit different. i'll be checking in this weekend so we'll see about a card.

ETA: oh nevermind.. in the mail... not for me this time either.. but it might be because i booked it myself through a host agency.
