The kids and I just got into this. love your rooms Duck they are very nice. I have to ask did anyone get all 25 charms? The bay seems to be the only place I can find them and some are not cheap. I have 4 kids and they each have one pet I can not see paying bay prices for each kid. Thanks for your help.

Aloha, after reading all your posts about webkinz I decided to give it a try. My animal is the racoon named Rockie. I don't understand about the charms and the games in the room. I just learned that I can go to a room and play a game and what is this coupon thing? Is this something I get if I buy the cards? I can't find any stores here that sell cards. Thanks and looking forward to more webkinz. Also, I'm in Hawaii anybody know what the hours are for the site and what time zone it's in? We don't have daylight saving here so right now the east coast is 6hrs ahead. Thanks-

I'm a little late to answer Tinker Bell's question. I got all 24 charms when they came out. I haven't looked at prices recently but Ganz priced them at $1.25 or so in the stores, very reasonable. You only need 8 charms to unlock all the searchable prizes (40 virtual charms to find in the forrest). If you buy 16 charms you receive a fairy fountain, and for your 24th you receive a grand charmling tree (which is kind of spooky, to be honest), as well as some kinzcash prizes... But you have the ability to search for all 40virtual charms after you enter the 8th code.
For Island Girls questions "kinz time" is Eastern Standard time for North America. Typically the site goes down for maintenance between 2:10am and 3:45.
You can also play in two other time zones but you need to set that when you open the account for the first time (you can't change your current account, you'd have to open a new one). You can also play in Greenwich mean time which is 5 hours ahead of EST (or 11 hours ahead of you) or Asian time which is 14 hours ahead of EST (20 hours ahead of you).
If I'm doing my math right the site wouldbe down for maintenance at around 8 o'clock your time. If that isn't convenient for you, you could open an account in one of the other time zones to be able to play at 8:00pm.
Coupons are one of the many prizes you can get from trading card codes. You can also get coupons from the hourly activities.
Games are in three categories:
Arcade area: Go there and play against yourself as many times as you like
Tournament area: Go there and play against strangers. There are two types of games in the tournament area:
Head-to-Head: Play directly against one other opponent, you can invite a friend from your list to play, or have one randomly chosen. The winer earns extra Kinzcash. You can play as many times as you like
Tournament games: You play by yourself, but your final score is tallied against other competitors. Everyone who places earns kinzcash. You are limited to entering one tournament per game at a time.
Games in your room: Certain games can be purchased in the W shop (there is also a bowling alley game that can be purchased periodically in the Curio shop). For these you can play by yourself in your room or invite someone from your friends list over to your room to play with you.
Finally many of the "in room games" are available for free in the "Kinzchat" area. These play exactly the same as they would when you play them in your own room.

I got a shocker yesterday in Pooh's Corner at DL. They sell webkinz at DL. I had no idea. But sad to say they had no charms.
Thank you Merryweather for the answer. I am still looking for those charms oh well.

I discovered Webkinz last weekend at Hallmark. They were having a special where you got one free with $10 purchase. Needless to say I left with 7 Webkinz and enough birthday, anniversary, Mother's Day, graduation, baby, for the rest of the year!
What a great site for kids!
