When we were tere in '05 at certain counter service you could request no fries and they would take off a dollar or so, is that still the case?? Any experience with this at Farmers market, whitewater or in Disneyland??? Thanks!

Yes, I believe that is still the case.

Most of the locations now offer grapes instead of fries at your request, so they may not discount for no fries anymore now that there is an option.

That's a fantastic tip - thanks

The last few times I've tried to get a discount without fries I was shot down. The only place I've been successful of late is when declining the bag of chips that comes with the corn dog at the corn dog cart. I've been offered carrots in lieu of fries at other places. The worst spot is at the bread place in DCA. They normally serve chips with their sandwiches. Not only would they not reduce the price but they didn't have anything to substitute for them either. If anyone has recently been able to get a lower price without fries or chips, please post!

I haven't eaten there in years, but the Hungry Bear used to offer only a cheeseburger, not a hamburger. If you wanted a hamburger, you had to order a cheeseburger without the cheese - but you paid the same price.
