Is it a must do or just a little added perk if you can do it? I tend to be a person who stresses a bit. I have 3 tickets for a family of 4. Like the dork that I am, I have been stressing over 1 last ticket but is it all worth it? I think I went a bit crazy over it becase it seems to be so popular. Now that I sit back and relax, I know it will not make or break my trip. Either way we will have an awesome time.
I guess I just want to see what your opinion of TTMM is.

Thanks,

I really liked it and so did DS (5). It was a great way to interact with some of the main characters without having it be packed and wait in a huge line. We are a family of three and had the tickets with our WDTC package. We used them in May and it is worth trying to get them, in my opinion. Will it break your trip, no. I know at least for now since DS liked it so much we will try and get tickets in the future. One of you could always take the kids in and the other could do some shopping........

It was fun. I went once last year and we will have tickets again this year because we bought a package. If you have little kids and want to meet Mickey/Minnie/Goofy and I can't remember who else is there for that then it is worth it. Mostly because the lines are not huge, you get to see them first thing, do some riding on kid rides and then you can leave that area and not stress over seeing those particular characters for the remainder of the day/trip.

Would I do it again? Not sure. I liked the parade that they do when they open Toon Town. (I missed some of it the last time we were there.) I would probably do it again to get that on tape, but wouldn't stress over it if I didn't see it again. It is fun and it is a whole lot LESS crowded going at that time than any other time of going to Toon Town.

If I had an extra ticket for the time you were going, I would give it too you, but I won't be there until Christmas time. I hope you have fun no matter what. If you decide to take your little ones by yourself, have your hubby (or whomever is going) do something that the little ones can't get on. Good luck!

I have tickets from my sister, but was wondering would I need one for my son who is under 3 years old or does each person in the party need one?

I also have preffered seating tickets from my sister. Can you only use them for one show, or are they good for each of the shows listed?

thanks

I know at the main gate, a ticket for a child under 3 is not needed but not sure about the events once in the park.

The preferred seating tickets have 4 perforated squares on them for each one of the shows. To my understanding, you give up one of the squares everytime you see one of the shows

I would do it once and only once. Certainly nothing to stress about. As others have posted, it is a terrific way to meet Mickey/Minnie/Goofy/Donald and whoever else happens to be part of the small parade through ToonTown. Small lines and you get early entry when you book a package through Disney. Like others have said, you go there first, get those important characters out of the way and then enjoy the rest of your day in the park. My 6 and 4 year olds at the time enjoyed it very much with the one on one attention with Minnie and Mickey and also Pluto who spent over 5minutes with my kids. Lots of good photo ops.

When I took the kids last October we didn't need a ticket for my son who was 1.5 yrs old at the time. For my kids, they got bored with the ceremony and much preferred to play at Goofy's and Minnie's house. Subsequent trips we skipped the TTMM but still went into TT for a break during the day. Now that dd is into getting autographs, I would go only if we didn't meet up with those characters in the park or at a breakfast.

I wish there was a depository for TTMM tickets and preferred seating tickets. We always have them left over from our trips and I feel like they are a waste when I throw them out.

When we went in 2006 and had extra stuff left over, we gave them to someone we met in the park. That way I felt like someone benefitted from the "extras".

and I am going to do that if I have anything left over. I love seeing the kid' face when they get a treat:D
