I am looking for a new printer that is around the $100 or less range. I would love to have a printer that can use a black only cartridge or a color only cartridge. I am also trying to find one that refills are reasonable. I am looking for an all in one. Copier, printer, scanner.

I know I do not want much. However, I have seen them on different websites for decent prices. However, I would like some personal suggestions VS just what looks good on a website.

The one I like so far is Epson Stylus Cx7400. I appreciate all help.

TIA.

I have the Dell 1100 laser printer (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1835193,00.asp) and have been very happy with it. It's monochrome (black), not color, and it's just a printer--not a scanner or fax or anything else--but it does what it does very well and with no complaint. We are coming to the end of the "starter" 1000-page toner cart, so I ordered a remanufactured 3000 page cart for half the price of a new cart. I much prefer laser printed output to ink-jet, and of course with a laser printer you don't ever have to deal with clogged ink.

The Dell 1100 laser printer (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=bsd&cs=04&sku=222-1681) is just $99 direct from Dell.

Thanks for the thoughts Andrew but I am looking for a color and black and white to use for multi functions. School projects, scrapbooking, pictures etc.

Suggestions, comments, HELP ME Please. I need to purchase one this weekend as my kids have already had to go to friends houses to print and that has to stop.

TIA

If you are looking for a new digital camera or new computer places like Wolf Camera or Circuit City offer a free all-in-one (AIO) by rebate with the purchase of either of those.

I have an HP AIO with card reader on the front that was free with my computer. When looking at them remember you get less trouble out of a bottom feed unit than a top feed unit.
