Pre-purchased ticket questions

we were in our "local" mall last night and picked up the ticket price brochure from the Disney Store there. When I asked if it reflected the 2008 prices, they said yes, but that there was no longer any incentive to buy them at the stores prior to our trip - as before there was a little bit of a price break if I pre-bought them.

When did this happen? That stinks....

This happened with the recent price increase a few weeks back. I haven't checked out places like ticket mania to see if they have a price break available anymore, but it might be worth looking into. either way I think that Disney is after ticket brokers now, and we may find a day when tickets are only available through Disney at WDW.

Check out mousesavers.com. There is a ticket broker cheaper than ticketmania now mainly because they provide free shipping.
