For a longer explanation:
Club 33 is an exclusive club. That's the primary reason it's so "special" to go there. To get in, you need to have a membership. To get a reservation, a member typically needs to call well in advance because they fill up.
You have unknowingly (hopefully unknowingly,) hit a little nerve with your post. Most people who get in without a membership, have very close connections to the member that "Got" them in. Members have to be very careful about who they share their reservations with or else jeopardize their membership. With a long waiting list, Disney has little to no motivation to tolerate inappropriate behavior in their club. With the value and expense of the memberships, members have little to no motivation to jeopardize their memberships by sharing them with "strangers." There are financial penalties for "no shows".
If you want a really special anniversary meal, I strongly STRONGLY encourage you to invite the older two to babysit the twins and take your wife to an amazing meal at the Napa Rose - an absolute treasure and gem of a restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel.

Thank youNo, even if you found a member who would be willing to get a reservation for you (and there aren't many that will risk their membership for someone they don't know), most need to make reservations 3 months in advance.
ETA - OK, when I first clicked reply, all I saw was Adrienne's first post, s thought I would add, then her second post showed up! Oh well....

There is also the expense. For a dinner of four you may be in the range of $500.00 for one meal. This cost is the reason that I have never considered asking member for a reservation. When I can afford a membership, maybe then I will ask.
