I do apologize... I know the aquarium is not a park, but I really do need help. My family and I will be traveling back to Disneyland Thanksgiving Week in 2008. We would really want to visit the Aquarium but I can't find anyone who offers transportation. If anyone can help... Where can I find tickets and transportation to Aquarium of the Pacific? Any help will be gratefully appreciated!!!:)

I think your best bet may be to rent a car, but price it against a cab ride (which might be cheaper, depending on how many passengers you have). Public transportation is probably not an option, but someone probably knows the bus routes. You can buy tickets as part of the "go" pass or there is a combo ticket with the Queen Mary (Adult: $35.00, Children (5-11): $19.00). You save $2 by buying individual tickets online.

Since your trip is so far off, I don't know what the prices will be them, but happy planning, and have fun.

Thank you for the response Bytebear... Unfortunately my sister is afraid of ships... But I like the idea... I'll keep my options open... :)

The Queen Mary is not a moving ship anymore, and it does not rock like a cruise ship, it is permanently stationed where it sits. My mom refuses to go on boats, but she visits the QM quite regularly with her Red Hat friends for tea.

I think your best bet and least costly on transportation would be to rent a car for one or two days and pack in one or two other sights along the way. Maybe you could do the Aquarium, wander through Shorline Village next door and then cruise up PCH to check out a beach or two on the way back and the rental car will allow you to stop and do whatever you want on your own time. Huntington Beach has a great downtown, even in the offseason, and Newport/Balboa has the fun zone with a big ferris wheel and carousel and a neat old car ferry. If you stay on PCH to Newport you can hop on Newport Blvd which turns into the 55fwy and takes you to the 5.

Thank You DizneyMommy... Your information is great. I guess my only option is to rent a car if I don't want public transit. But this information is a great help. Thank You All!
