I've got a day in my schedule that I could do Busch Gardens but since it is an hour and a half from WDW where we are staying I want to know if its worth it. Maybe we've seen enough roller coasters by then. Is there anything special there?

I was there about 10 years ago. It was entertaining but there are so many other things I would do in Orlando before I would go again. Sea World, Universal, More Disney, Wet n Wild, Coacoa beach just to name a few.

It depends on the age of your group. With teenagers who like coasters it is a great place. I prefer the bird show and the animals and the stage shows.
My hubby likes the free beer samples and the coasters.

We are going to Universal and IOA, Seaworld, Cocoa Beach. Its me, my husband and my 18 year old daughter. I'm sure she'd like the coasters but I was wondering if it was a place that couldn't be missed. I don't ride those crazy coasters like Krakken or however its spelled. Though she might! Their website doesn't seem to tell me much.

Busch Gardens Europe (BGE) in Williamsburg, VA is my home park. I actually have a pass that gets me into Busch Gardens Africa (BGA) in Tampa, FL.

I was at BGA last October actually. What month were you thinking about going to BGA? I see the ages of the group above, but what are the overall interests that your party has? This will help me help you decide if it is worth the trip for you. I was on everything there over a 2 day period last year, after being at WDW for 9 days (which I am doing again this year. :))

P.S. to WDW Heart - I used to live in Tarpon Springs, FL before moving here to Va Beach, VA. and had season passes there as well. It had been about 15 years since I was there and was pleasantly surprised about many of the changes that were made in that time period. You may want to give it another shot. :)

You are right, a park can change a lot in 10 years. I love Busch Gardens, VA. The next free day in Florida, I may try it. :D

I absolutely love Busch Gardens. It's a totally different feel than WDW or Universal. Several great rides, beautiful landscape, and the place is run very well, as is Sea World. I've only been 3 times in the past 10 years, but each time was on a non-peak day and the ride lines are seldom more than 10 minutes which makes it even better. Some great varied food choices, too, that many other parks don't offer.

And the main stage show, KaTonga, is worth taking a break for in the A/C.
