that IDIOT Jamie couldn't even keep a poker face during tribal council...she & Peih-Gee deserved to have their little plot uncovered by Jeff... hope it backfires on them both...didn't mind that they had a strategy, just that they were so smugly transparent about the damn thing...also hated Jamie's stupid reaction to finding out Eric was a virgin...man, I hope she's outta there SOON! At this point I'm leaning toward Amanda or Denise among the women (though Denise's accent gets on my last nerve, I have a nostalgic feeling for lunch room ladies!...anybody know where she's from???) and I'm pulling for cuties Frosti or Todd among the guys...

I swear if i was James I wouldn't do a thing to help them. Let Jamie and Pee Gee sink in their own mess. Too bad no exile island in this one I would send those two bimbos and Courtney(the waitress) there for the rest of the game. I hate to see aaron go and now James too.

I wonder if word of throwing the challenge gets to the other tribe if they'll start throwing the immunity challenges to vote of Frosti and Sharee to counter the strategy put together by PG and Jamie. Would be interesting to see both tribes trying to lose to the other.

Last week's show was kinda non-descript for me. Glad that Dave got kicked out because he's just annoying. Interesting, though, that it means two of the three people who have gotten kidnapped have then been immediately voted out. As for this week's episode, not really sure P.G.'s and Jaime's strategy to throw the challenges so they can vote off Aaron and James is going to work. (And if they were going to do it, you think they could have been a little more subtle about it?) The last tribe that threw a challenge to kick someone off paid for it dearly. In this case, they have to throw *two* immunity challenges. And since they voted off Aaron and kept James, he's going to be fit to be tied back at camp. I don't expect he'll be working hard to get water and other stuff now that he knows their strategy. Wonder if he'll somehow be able to convey it to the other tribe. Next week - scary Chinese food challenge! :)

Throwing the immunity challenge did work for PG & Jaime as they were able to get rid of one of the 'threats.' I just hope it turns out to bite them in the rear. You don't throw challenges period. I don't blame James for being PO'd and hope he stops pulling his weight around camp like you suggested, cstephens. Unfortunately, I just don't think he has what it takes to do that...he seems like a stand up guy to me (although that sexist lake conversation with John Robert about Courtney a few weeks ago does nag at me).
It'll be interesting to see what happens tonight....

Doing my happy dance that Sherea's gone. What a nasty B***H!
Was that one of the grossest food challenges or what? That would definitely be my downfall if I were ever in the game! FETAL CHICKS?!?! BABY TURTLES WITH SHELL?!?! I suppose General Tso's chicken would be out of the question....
My favorites...Todd, Frosti & Amanda. Courtney better be gone soon!!!

I liked Sherea sometimes, but she got too cocky. Her farewell speech was a bit weird. Delusional much?
I'm really surprised that in the immunity challenge, the thousand-year-old egg was considered worse than the balut, at least based on that it came after. The chicken hearts would have been easy to eat because I love them anyway, but I'm not sure I could have eaten them fast enough. I might have been able to eat the small turtles - depends on the texture of the first one I tried to eat. I didn't realize they were that small until one of them was popping them in her mouth. I would have absolutely refused to even attempt to eat the balut. (I couldn't even watch most of that segment.) I didn't think they usually came with actual feathers. And I love thousand-year-old egg. I think it's usually made from a duck egg. I love it in porridge.

I hope Todd wises up and realizes that Courtney is a liability. She's weak in challenges and has a bad attitude to boot. She's not trustworthy in the long run. Get rid of her.

I think you are right...and I can't see how she can physically survive much longer - I mean - what is her body operating on? She's got no fat! That can't be healthy for her.
Tonight's tribal council was priceless. Mom & I almost fell over laughing when Jeff tossed Jaime's "immunity idol" into the fire. :D

That was awesome.
I wonder if Peih-Gee will go next week. I want the Pagonging to hurry up and finish so that I don't have to watch Courtney anymore.

Did anyone hear Jamie's final words? She said she was too nice for Survivor:rolleyes: She really does think alot of herself. I was sooo happy to see her go. now get rid of PeGee,Courtney,Erik and JR in that order.

I was cracking up everytime James was on, he always had something funny to say, especially regarding the fake idol. I hope he goes far, but I have a feeling he is going to get stabbed in the back, because otherwise he will most likely start dominating challenges a la Terry from a couple seasons ago. The only way they can get rid of him is to blindside him when he wouldn't think to use the idol, so I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

It took almost a year for the payoff since when Yao-Man created the fake idol last time, no one found it and tried to use it, but this time, it was too funny watching Jamie present the piece of wood as an immunity idol to Jeff. It was great watching Todd and James trying to control their laughter. And how funny was it that Jeff threw it into the fire! You know that when Jamie said on camera that she wasn't as dumb as they think she is, that she was doomed. I loved that the immunity challenge was done at the camp itself, with Jeff coming to them. I don't think they've ever done that before. Maybe they figured that they'd all be too drunk from the wine to go anywhere. And since the challenge was just about answering questions anyway, it wasn't a problem doing it there.
I was laughing really hard when Todd was calling Courtney a bitch. Yep, both she and Jean-Robert need to go soon. They can spend all kinds of time together when they're sequestered on the jury.

Tonight was a fun episode. The constant flipping by Todd was interesting, but it did make sense, even though Amanda was confused by it. Who would have thought that Courtney would *ever* have been able to win a challenge? She must weigh like 4 pounds. I don't think there's ever been anyone skinnier than her on a Survivor. When Jeff put the immunity necklace around her, it was bigger than her and probably heavier than her. The husband and I applauded loudly when Jean-Robert was kicked off. The look on Todd's face as he was trying not to bust out laughing was priceless. It was also fun to watch P.G.'s face as she began to realize that she wasn't being kicked off that night. Jean-Robert was still delusional though. In his farewell speech, he talked about him being the biggest threat. No, dude, they really didn't like you and only kept you around because they needed the numbers. And what was with being a poker player and being used to using strategy and stuff and then just being a big lumbering oaf who just kept threatening people?
But you know something happened to Denise. First, she wasn't picked by either side for the reward challenge. And then she was the only one who voted for P.G. because "her tribe" didn't tell her what they were doing. You could see how mad she was. It'll be interesting to see how alliances might change next week.

This was a good episode. I felt sorry for P.G., but she really needs to learn to shut her mouth. Yeah, ok, so you're frustrated, but making the target on your back bigger and brighter is *not* the way to go. It's kind of funny that she's the only Chinese person there and yet she hasn't been part of any winning team that gets to experience some local culture. I was glad she won immunity, though - it threw a nice wrench into things. I used to like Frosti, but I think I totally lost respect for him because of his connection with Courtney. What the heck was up with that? She's almost literally a stick - she might as well be a boy because she's got zero curves. I don't get that we see her eat, and she chose to eat during the immunity challenge even though she'd also eaten on the boat as part of the reward challenge, but she still weighs 4 pounds. I can't even imagine why Frosti finds her attractive. I think I noticed that Eric has bigger boobs than she does. I still want her to go. Eric was pretty funny with his goat noises. And if they kicked off Frosti because he's a big threat, then they might want to start *really* looking at the big pink elephant in the room - James. Strong and two idols? Yeah, I'm thinking it's time to go through with that blindsiding thing they'd planned on previously. And what was up with the end of tribal council? Guess we'll have to wait until next week.
On a slight tangent, I did notice that one of the ads during the show was a casting call for "Big Brother". That show only runs in the summer, but with the current writers' strike, they're looking for more reality programming, and there had been talk about them doing the next "Big Brother" early. Now would be a good time to start casting to get the show up and running in January or February if the strike is still going on.
I heard the same thing about Big Brother. Sounds like a good idea.
I was sad to see Frosti go. PG annoys me. Eric's goat noises were eerily realistic. In fact, I was looking down when he first made the sound & I thought it really was a goat.
I think Courtney is scarily skinny -- but if Frosti finds uber-skinny girls attractive, more power to him. How sad that he didn't think he was in her league though! Frosti is adorable.
I can't wait to find out what Jeff meant at the end of tribal council. Next week's show is one of those "recap" things (i.e. I don't think there will be any new footage), so we may have to wait until 11/29 to see what happens.

Finally caught up! When Frosti said Courtney was out of his league, I said "No, she's way out of your league." DH said he was thinking exactly the same thing. I was so sad to see him go, but understood strategically why it had to happen. I used to really like James, but he surprised me when he didn't give the idol back to Todd when they merged. I've since lost a little respect for him.

i was wondering - maybe I missed it - did Todd ask for an Idol from James? I am surprised he didnt' give him one, too. i'm keeping my eye on the lunch lady (Bonnie?) sorry, i can't recall her name at the moment - I think she may just surprise us all.

No, Todd didn't ask James for an idol. However, because Todd told James where it was and where to get it on the other camp, I think he thought it would have been nice for James to share rather than keeping both for himself.
Lunch lady is Denise - I know, I'm not always good with names either. :)

to watch the recap episode tonight? I'm gonna record it but I've never found any of them of much interest...Next week's (11/29) is a different story!
