That's a big group! Are you wearing costumes? You could be the Seven Dwarves. :)

Haha, yeah that's a really good idea. But the 6 and 7 year olds have already decided to be a pirate and a princess. I don't know if the 14 year old and myself will be dressing up this year. We've been to MNSSHP twice in the past and dressed up. This year we actually just found out we are going. Our trip was originally September 7th-14th, but we changed our departure to the 15th so we can go to the Halloween Party.

Cool, we'll see you there! If you see a couple of Mouseketeers with "GARRETT" and "MAUREEN" on their shirts, say Hi. :)

Hey Gang!

Long time since I posted, but will say that my anniversary trip went AMAZING! The Mrs. and I had a blast.

Now we are heading back to Disney in the fall and will be going to he Mickey's Not So Scary Event on FRIDAY, October 12th with my brother and his wife. This will be their first year for this event and we want to make it special.

Last year we got the early entry by making reservations at Tony's. Does anyone know if this option is still available?

Costumes are up in the air at this point, but anything is possible! LOL

Thanks for any info!
Dave

That is not a bad idea. I am game for this.

Maybe a mini Dole Whip meet before the fireworks? :fez:

My wife and our 2 sons aged 4 and 2 will be there for the LAST night on November 2nd! We went last year and all dressed up as the Incredibles. People would ask us "where's Violet" and I would say "right here", pointing to invisible space.
We actually changed our arrival date so we could make this last day. We'll also be at the Christmas party on November 12th!!

Costumes are entirely optional. My group usually ends up with about 50% costumed. That's pretty average for the park. Some people do wear their costumes in the morning, though generally you don't see too many before about 4pm. I would advise stashing them in a locker and changing later. The full day in costume would, imo, be pretty uncomfortable. (But then again my costume involves pinching knee high pirate boots. ;) )

It's basically the same song for the parade... with a new added pirate sequence. :fez:

Yeah, the pirate part is a lot longer this year. They have Captain Barbossa in the parade along with the sweet new pirate float from the Pirate and Princess Party. But it's basically the same song.

My wife and our 2 sons aged 4 and 2 will be there for the LAST night on November 2nd!

We're also going on the last night - our DVC rep told us to be prepared for LOTS of candy as they'll be trying to dump it all on the last night. :)

We've decided to go as Jonas Brothers roadies! We have 3 ladies - one is going to be Security, one is going to be the Tour Manager, and one lucky lady is going to be Mrs Joe Jonas. Guess which one is me? :)
